Alan B. Taylor

Mr. Taylor has over 25 years of experience in the mineral exploration industry and is a qualified P.Geo. with a Master’s degree in Geology. He previously worked with Cominco, Imperial Metals Corporation, the Geological Survey of Canada, the Ontario Geological Survey, along with numerous other junior companies throughout the world. He is a member of the Geological Association of Canada, the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and BC & NWT Chamber of Mines. Mr. Taylor was formerly president of San Andreas Resources (Canadian Zinc’s predecessor company) and has been involved with the Prairie Creek Mine and property for over 15 years. During his involvement on the property the mineral resource base has increased significantly in order of magnitudes as a result of exploration.

 

Trevor L. Cunningham

Mr. Cunningham is a Certified Management Accountant with over 15 years of senior management experience in the mining, forestry, manufacturing and public utilities sectors. He has been responsible for strategic planning initiatives, operations and all aspects of corporate and financial management and administration, with extensive experience in public company regulatory filings and compliance in Canada and the United States. As a financial executive, Mr. Cunningham brings a wide variety of experience in the mining industry including extensive responsibility for budgeting, cost management, corporate governance, government and securities compliance, taxation, as well as enterprise resource planning and information systems implementation.  

 

Michael Vande Guchte

Mr. Vande Guchte is a professional geologist with over 20 years experience in the mineral exploration industry. He received a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Alberta in 1986 and Diploma of Technology from BCIT in 2000.  Michael has worked with both major and junior companies focused on gold and/or base metals exploration in Canada, USA, South and Central America.  Mr. Vande Guchte was formerly the President & CEO of Paragon Minerals Corporation (now a 100%-owned subsidiary of Canadian Zinc) and has been involved with the South Tally Pond VMS Project for the past 6 years.

Joseph Lanzon

Mr. Lanzon has over 20 years of experience in governmental affairs and in developing community partnerships with natural resource companies. Mr. Lanzon held management positions with mandates for business development and government affairs and has worked for the Federal Government of Canada, the NWT Government, the House of Commons and the Senate of Canada.

 

David Harpley

Mr. Harpley has 34 years of experience in environmental studies and management related to the mining industry, initially in South Africa and subsequently in Canada and the Americas. He was an environmental manager for several large consulting firms, undertaking studies to permit new mines, close existing mines, develop waste and water management plans. Since joining CZN, he has been responsible for all environmental issues, and led the effort to acquire new operating permits for the mine and access road, including authoring much of the material for regulatory submission, and appointing, managing and reviewing the work of consultants.

  

 

Chris Reeves

Mr. Reeves is a mine technologist with over 15 years experience as a manager dealing with administration, operations, human resources, health and safety, and training programs. Mr. Reeves started his career in the construction industry and had management contracting involvement with large scale projects in Canada and Asia. His experience is complemented with various computer modelling and drafting software skills used to generate technical figures and promotional materials.  

 

 

 

Wilbert Antoine

Mr. Antoine has over 40 years experience in the mining industry involved in a variety of positions from operations to management at Cardinal River Coal and Ekati Diamond Mines. Mr. Antoine, as an Elder and Member of the Liidlii Kue First Nation, has extensive contacts with the Government of Northwest Territories and various levels of Aboriginal Governments.

Mr. Boychuk has 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry, mining, road construction and maintenance, and management.  He has been responsible for cost control analysis of road construction, quality control monitoring, creation of safety programs, heavy equipment operation and repairs, and management of a variety of operations throughout his diverse career.

 

 

Dustin Smiley

Mr. Smiley is a mining engineer with over 5 years of experience in the consulting, operations and exploration areas of the mining industry. Mr. Smiley received his degree from the University of British Columbia’s Norman B Keevil Institute of Mining. He previously worked with EBA Engineering Consultants, A Tetra Tech Company, as well as with Gibraltar Mines Ltd. He is currently a member of APEGBC and is registered as an Engineer in Training (EIT). His experience primarily includes long range planning, cash flow modelling and analysis, and mine design.
