At the Prairie Creek Mine, Canadian Zinc has targeted a northern employment component of 40% of which it is hoped that 75% will be drawn from First Nations and local communities.
All contractors working at Prairie Creek are encouraged to hire locally and, where possible, to meet the Company's 'northern' and First Nation employment objectives.
Most of these positions are located at the Company's Prairie Creek Mine.
